Select a square, then type or tap a number; 0, Space or Backspace clears it. Enter or right-click switches to pencil marks. Click a sign, or press Shift with an arrow, to cross it off. M fills in every pencil mark and H gives a hint. Ctrl or ⌘ Z undoes; Shift Z redoes.

How to play

Fill the grid with the numbers 1 to its size so that every row and every column holds each number exactly once.

In Unequal puzzles a sign between two squares points to the smaller number. In Adjacent puzzles a bar joins two numbers that are one apart, and two neighbours without a bar are never one apart.

Pencil marks note the numbers a square might hold. Fill marks writes every number in every empty square; Hint does the same, rules out the easy ones and fills any square that easy reasoning settles. Cross off a sign once you have used it.

Repeated numbers and broken signs turn red with a dashed outline. Undo and Redo follow your history; a new move after Undo replaces the old branch. Restart returns to the givens and can be undone. Solve reveals the answer; a puzzle finished with Solve or Hint does not count as solved.
