Click or tap the centre of a block to turn it anticlockwise; right-click or Shift-click turns it clockwise. Arrow keys move the outlined block; Enter turns it anticlockwise and Space clockwise. A, B, C and D turn the corner blocks (Shift for clockwise). Ctrl or ⌘ Z undoes; Shift Z redoes.

How to play

Every square holds a numbered tile. Each move turns a square block of tiles a quarter turn about its centre: 2 × 2 blocks on most sizes, 3 × 3 or 4 × 4 on the larger ones. Put the numbers in order, left to right and top to bottom.

In “one number per row” puzzles, every 1 belongs in the first row, every 2 in the second and so on. When orientation matters, each tile also carries an arrow that turns with it; finish with every arrow pointing up.

The move counter shows your turns. Solve puts the tiles in order for you, which does not count as a win, and then counts moves from the solved board for practice. Undo returns to your game; Restart goes back to the starting arrangement and can be undone.
