Rectangles
Give every number a rectangle of its own
Drag between cell centres or grid corners to draw a rectangle or line. Click an edge to toggle it. Right-drag or use erase mode to clear interior lines. Arrow keys move; Enter starts and finishes a rectangle, Space erases, Escape cancels. Ctrl or ⌘ + arrow toggles an edge. Ctrl or ⌘ Z undoes; Shift Z redoes.

How to play
Divide the whole grid into rectangles. Each rectangle must contain exactly one number, and its area must equal that number. All cells must belong to a rectangle. Correct rectangles are shaded and their clue gains a ✓.
Drawing a rectangle clears its interior lines. Erase mode removes interior lines while preserving the outline. You can also draw a line by dragging along a grid edge. Tap a cell and use its edge controls on touch screens.
Solve reveals the upstream solution and does not count as a win. Undo restores your previous work. Restart clears moves and history on the same puzzle.
