The rules
- Cover every cell with rectangles, called patches. Patches cannot overlap.
- Each patch holds exactly one clue cell.
- The patch must match its clue: the number is how many cells it covers, and the icon says what shape it may take.
- A clue with a dashed square and no number can have any size and shape.
- A square with this many cells
- A rectangle wider than tall
- A rectangle taller than wide
- Any rectangle with this many cells
- Any rectangle at all
Draw a patch by dragging across cells. A rectangle that breaks a rule is never placed, and the message beside the board says why. A new patch replaces any patch it overlaps. Every puzzle has one answer that follows from the clues.
