Filling
Fill the grid with regions whose size matches their number
Keyboard controls
Select or drag across squares, then type 1–9 or choose a number. 0, Backspace or Delete erases. Tab into the board shows the cursor; arrows move it; Shift+arrows extend from the current square; Enter starts or stops selecting as you move; Space toggles one square; Escape clears selection and keeps the keyboard cursor; Clear selection hides it. Multi-select lets you tap several squares. Ctrl or ⌘ Z undoes; Shift Z redoes. On large boards, use Show left edge and Show right edge to scroll the frame.

How to play
Fill every empty square with a digit from 1 to 9. Each region of identical digits connected along an edge must have exactly that many squares: 1s stand alone, 2s come in pairs, and so on. Diagonals do not connect.
Clues are fixed. Regions may contain several clues or no clues. Two regions of the same number cannot share an edge: they would join into one larger region. You do not draw walls; borders appear as you enter numbers.
A ! marks an overfull region or an undersized region with no empty neighbor. Completed regions have a shaded background and a ✓ at their anchor; their exact size and anchor square are spoken in cell labels. There are no pencil marks in Filling.
Drag to select any path of editable squares and fill them together, or use Multi-select to tap several squares. Enter and arrows select a keyboard path; Space adds or removes a square. A multi-cell fill is one Undo step. Restart resets the same puzzle in one undoable step. Solve reveals the upstream answer and does not count as a win.
